Breath&Fire
"Poem of Peace ^ Chant de Paix"
reflects the acceptance of what can never be and the liberation from suffering through unrequited love while finding the quiet place in the Seelenburg due to somatic practices
With the only 32 bars long piece in quadruple meter "Friedenspoem" a poetic-lyrical confession of peace of mind is conveyed in a simple form.
With this piece, J. Langlais processes his realisation,
that his love can not be returned
and have expressed those feelings with Gregorian themes in a quiet,
spiritual contentment.
J. Langlais on his work "Chant de Paix:
“My “chant de paix” is dedicated to the granddaughter of a great geologist, Pierre Termier. Her name was Claire Boussac and she was such a peaceful soul, so uncomplaining, so calm in the face of life that I wrote this piece for her."

The composition by J. Langlais inspires reflections on how to deal with the experience of unrequited love. Such experience has been identified as crucial, in cases of relational violence, in particular murder of women and girls (femicide).
With methodical approaches from artistic disciplines, an attempt is made to follow J. Langlais's experience, to reflect on one's own experiences of unrequited love and to look for ways in which peace of mind can be guided and achieved through creative activities and meditative sequences,
how love can be re-thought and the egoistic posesive emotions could be transformed.,
while re-thinking legal consequences and prospects, practicing acceptance, forgiveness, letting go
Engaging space installation: 32 embodiments in 3 acts
the composition of artworks for engaging participation is composed in the form of a vegetative spiral , consisting of spheric pathways...
The 3 spheric places are enabling engagement of visitors, and becoming a part of the place where the interaction by respiratory sequences takes part: lung wing point, braiding benches, fire place.
Psalm 32 is about the joy of forgiveness and deliverance from guilt and sin. In this psalm, the transformation of desire and lust into pure love can be understood as an act of divine forgiveness. Acknowledging and admitting mistakes can be the first step towards transformation.
Psalm 85:10
"Love meets faithfulness, righteousness and peace kiss"
In the context of Sadhana meditation and Psalm 85:10, one is encouraged to cultivate the inner qualities of justice, peace, grace and faithfulness and to understand them as a path to unity and spiritual growth.
Project theoretical frame is situated in notion of planetarylove, coined by the french philosopher and theologist Luce Irigaray, which teaches us to awaken to a new ethical constellation in which we make breath awareness essential to an embodied ethics of difference in our globalized, ecological age.
The practice of planetarylove in the composition of artworks entitled “Breath & fire2030” encompasses a set of acts that may enable the practice of love that does not occupy and hurt and can help us connect with the world in a more attentive way.
The ecosomatic approach to relational cultures among humans and among humans & spiritual environment enables deeper experience of the planetarylove.
Based on Irigaray’s teaching, an active and conscious breath leads both- to an enhanced awareness of our singularity as well as to our communal belonging.
Guiding tools for exploring the notion “breathing with the world” through somatic practices are following: guided imagination by thought experiment, dance meditation and the respiratory syllabus with the Orange Feather, which enables embodied manifestation of the breath that emerge visible by Featherflow
Breath&Fire 25/11 ...
Grounded in the perception of art as a place for beings of this Earth to breathe and to share the air within a new elemental-spiritual conspiracy of love.(Skof 2022 ) and artistic engagement as a somatic practice, that enables “breath & fire” in “the place of inner horizontal calm being gathered and cultivated in us by fire (ibid), the composition of artworks is envisioned to contribute as an attempt to relational cultures being permeated by flames of violence, with tools for recovery, while re-imagining, re-thinking conditions and direct connection of air and breath. According to Irigaray, “the new humanity will only be reborn from the body, heart, breath, listening, speech and mind—and this will materialize through an exchange of relational gesture.” (ibid).
Political stage: art inTalk2030…
Increasing acts of violence around the world, such as the current wars, femicide, hate speech leading to suicide, and calls for peace and peacebuilding are growing louder.
Governments around the world are arming their armies, powerful defense forces are being demonstrated, and investments in war industries are rapidly growing.
With methods from artistic disciplines, an attempt was made to reflect on one's own experiences with violence in relational cultures and to look for ways in which peace of mind can be guided and achieved through creative activities and meditative sequences.
In a wider sense, situating the participatory experience in the framework for the prevention of violence as well as for the treatment of trauma-related conditions, the Featherflight acts can be explored as a movement-based therapy that is effective in restoring the intrinsic capacity for orienting to others, and for positive affective responding, and positive self-environment relationship through somatic sensory experience.
Activating thought, imagination, memory, will, and sensation as responsible faculties for various mental phenomena, such as perception, pain experience, belief, desire, intention, and emotion with respiratory exercises such as Featherflight-acts, guided imagination by thought experiments and dance meditation engages the body through a purposeful, playful sensorial act that taps the embodied experiences of narrative or logical expression in a dialogical process with self and other, transforming fury attempts into dialogical acts, mentally, emotionally, physically, like turning the 32 fouettes in ballet.
Connecting spiritual dimension across lines of the Scripts,
"“There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm” (Hadith 32), while, "blessed is one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered" (Psalm 32)
The traces of fire, smoke, ash, ... are remaining in the breath
